Engine, gears and fuel
The new FTN 50cc features an air cooled, single cylinder 2 stroke engine, with a rated power and rotating speed of 9HP and 9000rpm. The 2 stroke engine provides a significant power boost and a lighter weight when compared with 4 stroke engines, allowing the bike to get up to speed faster. For ease of use for new riders, the gears are fully automatic.
The bike is fuelled by petrol and oil and features a fuel tank capacity of 1.3L and a compress ratio of 11+/-0.6:1.

The 2019 FTN 50cc features a gross weight of 51kg, a length of 1280mm, by a width of 640mm and a height of 820mm, with a seat height of 610mm, a handlebar height of 800, and a maximum distance from the ground of 300mm. The front wheel features dimensions of 60/100-14” and the larger rear wheel has dimensions of 70/100-12”, ensuring excellent stability.
Suitable for riders of age 12 and above, with a maximum load of 150kg, the FTN 50cc is well suited to a wide range of dirt bike enthusiasts.
Speed and brake system
This bike is capable of reaching speeds of up to 43mph and features front and rear breaking systems (a hydraulic brake on the handle bars and a rear foot brake), helping riders to safely slow down and stop.

Suitable for use on tarmac and rougher off-road terrains, the 2019 FTN 50cc features front and rear suspension. For the front wheel, hydraulic upside-down fork suspension is used, whilst the rear wheel features rear shock absorption suspension, well suited to uneven surfaces.
